Want to make a difference?

St. Peter’s Child Care Center is currently seeking energetic, creative, and hardworking individuals who enjoy working with children ages 6wks-12 years old. Only individuals who meet the following criteria will be invited in for an interview. We are rated as a 5 Star Center through Step Up to Quality and currently have a contract with Invest in Children for their Universal PreK Program. Therefore an Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education is required. The ideal individual must be able to pass a background check and a medical examination. Experience working in a licensed childcare center is also required. This candidate will be responsible for developing lesson plans that align to Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards. These plans will reflect the interests of the children and will include many opportunities for the children to learn and explore throughout their environment without being "taught" through teacher directed lessons. We are looking for individuals that possess a strong passion for interacting, exploring, and learning with children.

We offer major medical benefits, enrollment in AFLAC supplemental insurance plans, personal and vacation time, opportunities for paid professional development and TEACH contracts, low teacher child ratios, and a great environment to grow and learn as an early childhood educator.
