Our Curriculum

Creative Curriculum

The Creative Curriculum approach reflects the most important part of being a child; exploring the things that are most interesting and fun! Lessons are planned based on the current and revolving interests of the children, providing resources and experiences for them to explore freely and to build on what they know. Our approach balances teacher-directed activities with child-initiated learning, producing programs that are constantly new and refreshing, and growing with our children.

Conscious Discipline

Socioemotional development in the early years is crucial to a child's future success in school and in life. At St. Peter's Child Care, we value the growth and development of the whole child and practice a socioemotional curriculum alongside the academic. Conscious Discipline is a research and data backed socioemotional curriculum that focuses on emotional processing, emotion/behavioral regulation, and interpersonal skills.

Teaching Strategies GOLD

Teaching Strategies GOLD provides our teachers with a comprehensive assessment system to focus on ways to support your child's learning. Each child's strengths and progressions are documented through authentic observation and results are utilized in the regular planning for learning explorations and experiences. Families are invited to see pictures and observations, and we hold regular conferences to discuss goals and achievements for your child.
